The AGS PTA is comprised of a group of AGS parents volunteering their time and effort to organise fun and entertaining events throughout the school year. These events provide opportunities for AGS students, parents , and staff to meet in fun, exciting and informal setups which serve to bring the AGS community closer together.
In celebration of the wide cultural diversity of AGS and our individual roles as global citizens the PTA would like to invite you all to the AGS International Day on Thursday 6th of December at 1:30pm at the school yard.
This free event would be a fabulous opportunity for each of the 60 or more nationalities that make up the AGS community to share their culture, food, traditional dress , art and music. Children, parents and staff are strongly encouraged to come in traditional dress for their country of origin.
We are in search of parent volunteers to host stalls that showcase individual countries’ food , culture, customs, art and music. If interested please register by emailing email@example.com before the 2nd of December. Please note that unregistered stalls will not be accepted on the event day.
If you happen to be the only family from a particular country, you are welcome to have a joint stall with neighbouring nations, ones with a similar culture to yours or with those from the same continent. Tables, chairs and electrical power will be provided by the school but kindly bring your own power extension cables. We look forward to welcoming you on board!

AGS are proud to present 'Disney Peter Pan JNR'.
A show full of warmth, magic and adventure. Peter, the boy who wouldn’t grow up, and his mischievous fairy sidekick, Tinkerbell, visit the nursery of the Darling children late one night. With a sprinkle of pixie dust, they begin a magical journey across the stars to Neverland, a place that none of them will ever forget. In the adventure of a lifetime, the travellers come face to face with a ticking crocodile, a fierce Indian tribe, a band of bungling pirates and, of course, the villainous Captain Hook. A classic tale and the perfect show that brings out the child in all of us.
Tickets will be available from 22nd April 2018 onwards. Please purchase these directly from our Accounts Office.
Tuesday 1st and Wednesday 2nd May will be when our children will be showcasing this fantastic tale! Doors open at 18:45, for our performance to begin at 19:00.
