Dr. Shanfari has diverse experience spanning into academia, business, and civil society in Oman. His current responsibilities include Faculty Member in the Department of Economics and Finance at Sultan Qaboos University, Member of the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Oman, Board Member of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Galfar Engineering & Contracting Company (SAOG), Vice Chairman of the Board of Omani Economic Association, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Gulf Investment Services Company (SAOG), Gulf Baader Capital Markets Company (SAOC) and First Mazoon Fund, and Member of the Advisory Council of the Management Center at the American University in Cairo. His previous experience included board memberships in Al-Omaniya Financial Services Company (SAOG) and Omani Packaging Company (SAOG). Dr. Shanfari holds a Doctorate in Economics from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland. He also has an MA in Economic Planning from the Institute of Social Studies at the Hague, the Netherlands and BSc in Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, USA.

Himansu Mohapatra has more than 22 years of experience that span into managing equity & fixed income portfolio, private equity & venture capital investments, real estate development & greenfield projects. He has set up, acquired and managed several new ventures in the Education, Healthcare, Industrial, Aquaculture, Media & Communication, Technology, Entertainment and Hospitality sectors. He has been on the Boards of several listed and unlisted companies in Oman and in the region. He is currently working as Group General Manager - Investment with Muscat Overseas Group and has worked with Sovereign Wealth Fund in Oman and leading financial institutions in India. He holds a Master Degree in Commerce (Advance Accountancy) and a Postgraduate in Business Management (Finance).

Raza is a Warwick Business School graduate with a first class honors degree and he spent several years in postgraduate research before starting his business.

Mr Lee Davies has 30 years of experience in various notable school groups across the Middle East and UK. He is an accomplished and visionary educator with a great track record of success, from pre-operations and new school development to leading schools in the region. Most recently Lee began his career with Al Najah Education as Headmaster of Dubai’s hugely popular Jumeirah based Horizon International School. His tenure marked HIS as one of the fastest growing schools in the region. He was then placed as Director of Special Education Projects, working with stakeholders and external agencies to support the growth of the company. In Oman Lee was behind the recent establishment of the Hay Al Shrooq International School in Sur. He also serves as Al Najah Director of Education Oman. Lee is an MBA graduate from Strathclyde University, Glasgow and has spent several years participating in a wide range of sporting activities.

Mona is a career-development guru in various disciplines related to education including teaching quality, curriculum development, institutional accreditation, learning and assessment strategies and children behavior analysis.

She holds B.Ed. degree from Cairo University. Starting her career from teacher to head of department followed by being vice principal and then general manager in A’soud Global School. She enjoys the merit of building strong relationships and positive communications with the school stakeholders and the wider community and follows significant approaches towards the business ethics, corporate social responsibility, team work, innovations and individual creativity and initiatives.
